Geri Taylor Co-Executive Director

Geri Taylor, a native of Utah, has been writing most of her life.  Her career began in 1985 with columns in the Utah County Journal and Daily Herald (under Geri O'Neill).   Geri was also Women's editor for Utah Adventures Magazine and co-authored "Have Your Cake and Eat it Too", a financial guide for women.   During the 80's she and Randy Jernigan opened a successful writing school in Provo. After several years, new career opportunites and a move, the school was dissolved, but always with the idea of restarting it. Twenty years later, Geri and Randy have reunited their talents and life experiences to again offer a premier writing school.
"Having a talent to write is one thing," says Taylor.  "Translating that talent into income is where we will assist the students most.  Writing skills will play an important part in the class curriculum, with writing assignments and critiquing."
"We feel there is a great need for writers to discover the many avenues to getting published and even earn a living at writing.  Our goal is to be the stepping stone to that new level," says Taylor.  As head of curriculum for the school she has experience to draw from, including humorous, technical and journalistic writing.
